Dr. DeCarvalho was recently interviewed by NBC to discuss the recent abduction and murder of Cherish Perrywinkle. This has sent chills throughout our community and devastated a family. Dr. DeCarvalho tells us why this man should have been admitted into a facility for psychological evaluation and treatment. Had our system taken a more responsible role in treating this man, Cherish would still be with us today.

Dr. Marcus De Carvalho completed his psychiatry training at the State University of New York in Syracuse and the University of South Florida. Our office is conveniently located off of Wells Road in Orange Park, Florida very close to Orange Park Hospital.

Dr. De Carvalho brings to Orange Park an expanse of knowledge on psychiatry and is an expert in a number of the most common disorders/diseases. These include but are not limited to these psychiatric disorders: Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, PTSD and ADHD and substance related disorders, including substance-induced dependence and substance induced mental disorders.
